Major Duties (Job Description)
- You will serve as Portfolio Compliance Analyst managing program activities to ensure compliance with Defense Business Systems Information Technology (IT) statutes, and regulations to include establishing centralized portfolio management capability.
- You will perform analysis, design, development and implementation of standardized processes to ensure IT compliance requirements are accomplished and documented in applicable Department of the Navy (DoN) IT tracking systems.
- You will perform analysis of the periodicity and triggers for various compliance updates and development of a comprehensive schedule that provides full visibility of future requirements.
- You will develop recommendations for adjustments to the time phasing of compliance requirements to normalize the cyclic level of effort and resources.
- You will prepare and present informational and instructional materials designed to communicate the intent, purpose and interrelationships between various IT reporting systems.
- You will perform IT compliance assessments to develop comprehensive schedules providing visibility of short/long-term IT requirements.
- You will Implement program-wide portfolio management functions to meet statutory and regulatory requirements for Defense business and IT systems.
- You will develop and present reports and metrics to provide the state of IT compliance reporting.
- You will ensure timely and accurate entry of data and information to support Investment Review Boards (IRBs) and the Defense Business Systems Management Committee (DBSMC).
- You will develop processes to achieve compliance with certification and accreditation and IT security controls, certifications, and plans.
Qualification Summary
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band DA-02 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Perform analysis, compliance assessments, design, development and implementation of standardized processes to ensure Information Technology (IT) compliance requirements are effectively accomplished and documented in applicable Department of the Navy (DoN) IT tracking systems.
