  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will serve as the Business Financial Manager (BFM) supporting NIWC Pacific, assigned to a Department, or Service Center, as a direct report to the applicable Supervisor in Corporate Operations 80R10.
    • You will develop General and Administrative funding requirements to include projections for year end, and funding estimates for A-11 budget.
    • You will develop cost analyses throughout the life cycle of the project/program to illustrate and improve the economy/efficiency of current and projected operations.
    • You will provide monthly reports to track expenses to ensure budget targets are met.
    • You will support the Division BFM in financial matters and coordinate and respond to data calls.
    • You will resolve complex funding scenarios, issues, including analyzing and solving potential reporting problems without precedent.

    Qualification Summary

    NO-04: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: develop cost analyses throughout the life cycle of the project/program to illustrate and improve the economy/efficiency of current and projected operations; and provide recommendations; and supporting the efficiency and overall financial excellence of programs/projects and initiatives. NO-03: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the Gs-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: develop cost analyses throughout the life cycle of the project/program to illustrate and improve the economy/efficiency of current and projected operations; and provide recommendations.
