  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will serve as a Lead Personnel Management Advisor responsible for providing expert advisory and consultative services regarding staffing, classification, recruitment, and pay to the assigned NIWC Atlantic Human Resources Office staff.
    • You will be responsible for originating solutions and/or developing appropriate interventions for management on staffing, recruitment and pay issues and concerns.
    • You will lead or serve as a team member on special projects or comprehensive studies to examine a spectrum of recruitment and/or staffing problems or issues across the command.
    • You will be the primary workload facilitator, monitoring metrics and work of less senior PMAs and Human Resources Technicians to ensure consistent and accurate processes and work-flow.

    Qualification Summary

    Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or or NO-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying comprehensive knowledge of HR recruitment, staffing, pay and classification principles, concepts, practices, methods and techniques as required to modify and/or develop recruitment and staffing program changes.
