  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will serve as a lead and support implementation of the Training/Career development program to include Mandatory Training, Competency Development Models (CDM), Employee Development, New Employee Orientation (NEO).
    • You will serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Human Resources (HR) staff and organizational development.
    • You will participate in all phases of planning, implementing and administering a training program which is responsive to immediate and long-range needs and goals of Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR).
    • You will analyze overall Command training programs; validates local programming; budgeting of funds; and training requirements.
    • You will coordinate the on-site courses to include managing the facilitators, determining course schedule, scheduling attendees, site determination and logistical support for the entire program.
    • You will will provide planning, programmatic, and staff support in the execution of the mandatory and professional development training for civilians.
    • You will coordinate the efforts of training programs, including program guidance, resource allocation, synchronization of training activities, reporting, and metrics.
    • You will implement and/or develop communication channels at all levels of organization to provide awareness and communicate stakeholder roles in various training efforts.
    • You will be identifying and developing ways to resolve current and future problems and maintaining a quality civilian workforce.

    Qualification Summary

    Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band DP-02 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating training and educational needs of an organization; recommending, modifying, or discontinuing various types of instructional systems; evaluating the effectiveness of instructional programs; and assist developing and revising training materials.
