    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will prepare Decision Papers and Draft Replies: Based on research or administrative knowledge.
    • You will coordinate agendas, convey messages, and welcome visitors.
    • You will develop and maintain processes for managing correspondence, including drafting, reviewing, and editing for clarity and accuracy.
    • You will participate in daily office operations, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
    • You will maintain and organize files, records, and documents, ensuring confidentiality and security.
    • You will assist in planning and executing official events, ceremonies, and visits, ensuring all protocol requirements are met.

    Qualification Summary

    Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Comprehensive administrative support to the Commanding Officer and other senior management officials. Planning, organizing, and coordinating work with staff and line management personnel, which frequently involves the definitive interpretation of various regulations and military protocols.
