  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will comply with Executive Order 13526 for the management to ensure access to classified information is limited to appropriately cleared personnel with a valid need-to-know.
    • You will have knowledge in Personnel Security and are able to obtain and maintain a level 6 account in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) Web Application, NP2 Portal for secure communication.
    • You will initiate, review, submit and distinguish the difference in requirements for Tier 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 background investigations.
    • You will coordinate the onboarding requirements for all new hires with the Joint Base Charleston Visitor Control Center for base access.
    • You will process, verify, and approval SAAR-N forms via the SWAT Tool.

    Qualification Summary

    Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience with Personnel Security and security systems; ability to initiate, review, submit and distinguish the difference in requirements for Tier level background investigations. Proficient in security programs, procedures and requirements.
