Major Duties (Job Description)

• You will ensure prompt recording of authorizations, commitments, and obligations in budgetary accounts.
• You will record assets, liabilities, and expenses in propriety accounts, ensuring accurate finaincial tracking.
• You will monitor the pre-validation and certification processes for payments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• You will manage timely billing of incurred costs to funding documents and ensure prompt matching of associated collections.
• You will perform financial analysis of the business operations.
• You will formulate and execute governmental budget exhibits.
• You will monitor the balances associated with the propriety and budgetary accounts
• You will monitor the accounting systems and assure the system is working as designed.

Qualification Summary

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NO-05 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Overseeing budget formulation, budget execution, financial management, cost accounting, data analysis, and audit planning to ensure compliance with DoD policies and regulations, exhibiting strong communication and administrative expertise in financial management.
