    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will interact with various Center Leaders, sponsors, contractor personnel, and NIWC Pacific departments to facilitate execution of day-today financial and administrative requirements.
    • You will identify and resolve complex financial problems such as impact of labor postings on Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) cost centers, automation recommendations.
    • You will provide advice in planning, preparing, processing and coordinating tasks in the areas of A-11 budget, execution phasing, accounting, procurements and contracts.
    • You will anticipate and/or identify financial issues and their program implication and recommend adjustment, efficiency, and/or corrective actions to enhance the effective allocation and use of resources.

    Qualification Summary

    Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: sector with work experience in the areas of budgeting, financial execution, carryover, data cleansing, procurements, and contracts; formulation of budget submissions in a Working Capital Fund (WCF) environment; experience working with Navy Enterprise Resources Planning (Navy ERP); and ability to effectively create and utilize spreadsheets to report on budget requirements and financial execution.
