  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will analyze and evaluate existing administrative operational and support processes and procedures within the organization to reduce the burden of administrative requirements on Officer in Charge (OIC), managers, supervisors and others.
    • You will coordinate meetings and prepares Defense Travel System (DTS) authorizations/travel vouchers.
    • You will prepare and support Department personnel actions, correspondence (letters, memos, messages, etc.), awards and various forms as required in accordance with organizational guidelines.
    • You will track and process incoming/outgoing department correspondence and review all outgoing documents to ensure readiness for the OIC or Department Head signature.
    • You will work assignments involve complex problems/challenges were gathering information and/or knowledge from multiple sources, validating facts and takes or recommends appropriate action to resolution.
    • You will provide guidance for the preparation, presentation, formulation, justification, and execution of administrative processes and programs, which include an in-depth knowledge of organizational agreements, etc.
    • You will work as part of the Flank Speed Champions network, attend Center Knowledge Management meetings, design, brief and implement the organization’s Flank Speed architecture including administration architecture and project Teams setup groundwork.

    Qualification Summary

    NO-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Reviewing and analyzing incoming correspondence; and analyzes, extracts, summarizes and identifies existing and potential inconsistencies and problems, from long-term, conceptual problems to more immediate day-to-day problems, within an organization; and plans, develops, and maintains systems and procedures for personnel management activities and action tracking processes; preparing travel documentation, submitting visit requests and obtain security clearance information; inputting personnel's time and attendance; and utilizing a centralized platform (i.e. Microsoft Teams, Flank Speed) for communication and collaboration. NO-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Reviewing and analyzing incoming correspondence; and analyzes, extracts, summarizes and identifies existing and potential inconsistencies and problems, from long-term, conceptual problems to more immediate day-to-day problems, within an organization; and preparing travel documentation, submitting visit requests and obtain security clearance information; and inputting personnel's time and attendance.
