  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will execute and track moderately complex procurement requisitions, ensuring compliance with all governing laws, regulations, and policies.
    • You will develop, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance procurement execution within the team and beyond.
    • You will coordinate efforts with other team members to maintain consistency across the Material Procurement Competency.
    • You will manage personal resources to meet team goals and contribute to small to large scale project initiatives.
    • You will research and resolve procurement issues by analyzing customer, vendor, and team inquiries in accordance with applicable requirements.
    • You will keep management informed of operational issues to ensure team alignment and awareness.
    • You will mentor junior team members in procurement processes and policies to improve overall team effectiveness.

    Qualification Summary

    Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or NG-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Execute AND/OR track Purchase Card procurements, ensure compliance with policies, develop process improvements, coordinate team efforts, resolve procurement issues, AND/OR mentor junior team members to enhance performance.
