  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will serve as a Construction Contract Manager (CCM) in the Facility Planning Branch (Code 83550) in the Facilities Office (Code 83500).
    • You will perform a wide range of comprehensive construction and contracting oversight.
    • You will oversee Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific contracts for design, construction, alterations, additions, maintenance, rehabilitation, demolition, and facilities services.
    • You will manage multiple priorities and provide technical recommendations/solutions to complex problems encountered during the administration of construction contracts.
    • You will functions as an experienced and independent architect/engineer in the field of construction engineering and management.
    • You will support the Contracting Officer as Contracting Officer’s Representative and/or Contracting Officer’s Authorized Representative (COAR) with the execution of all COR and/or COAR duties as assigned.

    Qualification Summary

    Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: reviewing, overseeing, or advising on various types of construction contracts, project delivery methods, and regulations governing Federal contract administration.
