  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will be technically competent and knowledgeable in the disciplines and functional task areas associated with PNT technologies, including RF and alternative technologies.
    • You will be responsible for include providing technical leadership, planning, business development, and coordination of all aspects of the Division’s Technical Capabilities and Projects.
    • You will interface broadly with Division Leadership, Project Managers/Leads, Stakeholders and Customers.
    • You will be the technical leader; the selectee directs studies and efforts to determine which technologies and policies will have a major impact on the Navy and the Division's assured PNT business base.

    Qualification Summary

    In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band ND-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing Positioning, Navigation and timing (PNT) technology such as: Global Positioning System (GPS), PNT sensor fusion and/or other alternative PNT sensors.
