  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will serve as a Project Manager within the C4I Foreign Military Sales (FMS) IPT.
    • You will manage FMS case execution activities within the PEO C4I portfolio of international acquisition responsibilities.
    • You will develop Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) and Price and Availability in response to Letters of Request (LOR).
    • You will manage all phases of international program acquisition life cycle including installation, training, operational support, sustainment, and modernization.
    • You will coordinate C4I FMS case activities with multiple internal and external stakeholders to include Echelon II and FLAG/SES levels.
    • You will establish goals and objectives for executing assigned FMS cases to include preparing a top-level management plan for contract award, case execution, and case closure.
    • You will ensure FMS case management communications meet sponsor/customer requirements, are prompt, complete, and professionally presented.

IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Utilize analytical skills, evaluation techniques, and re-engineering methods to assess the technical, financial, and programmatic implications of prospective IT endeavors. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Manage stakeholder requirements from internal/external agencies helping execute and accomplish organizational goals and objectives. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the workforce communicating organizational goals and objectives while aligning with the command's initiatives. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: analysis, reporting, coordinating, and facilitating working groups to meet and resolve project objectives. In addition: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or NO-04pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Manage AND/OR maintain C4I international acquisition project efforts to include coordinating stakeholder requirements, developing key documentation, ensuring compliance with foreign disclosure, and overseeing all phases of project life cycle execution, from planning through delivery and sustainment.
