  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will implement and enforce security policies, standards, and methodologies to enhance cybersecurity (CS) operations in support of the Joint Deployable Intelligence Support System (JDISS) mission.
    • You will assess the effectiveness of implemented IT security features and operations for the safeguarding of classified information on information technology (IT) systems.
    • You will assess risks, monitor networks and databases, and create risk management plans.
    • You will perform system audits on multiple platforms and implement processes and technologies that help highlight anomalies that can be evaluated to ensure Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability is not compromised.
    • You will maintain day to-day security posture and continuous monitoring of Intel Services IT including security event log/audit review and analysis
    • You will participate in the change management process, reviewing Change Requests and assessing the security impact of proposed changes
    • You will monitor system recovery processes to ensure security features are properly restored and functioning correctly after an outage

    Qualification Summary

    Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or DP-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Implementing and enforcing all cybersecurity policies and procedures. Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:Information Technology (IT) Management Series 2210 (Alternative A) Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
