    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will develop and present training materials for SCI personnel, providing cybersecurity guidance and support to SCIF staff for systems, networks, and media management.
    • You will document, track, and enforce SOPs for media, ISs, and networks in SCIFs, preventing data loss and ensuring security compliance.
    • You will manage functional mailboxes, process SCI account requests, and implement security policies for systems and media management.
    • You will assist with physical inventory validation, handling classified media, and operating equipment for media destruction.
    • You will liaise with SCI and non-SCI officials to ensure effective communication and coordination.
    • You will contribute to the Intelligence Oversight Manager team, supporting ongoing oversight and compliance activities.

    Qualification Summary

    Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Utilize analytical skills, evaluation techniques, and re-engineering methods to assess the technical, financial, and programmatic implications of prospective IT endeavors. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Manage stakeholder requirements from internal/external agencies helping execute and accomplish organizational goals and objectives. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the workforce communicating organizational goals and objectives while aligning with the command's initiatives. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: analysis, reporting, coordinating, and facilitating working groups to meet and resolve project objectives. In addition: NO-04: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or NO-03pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Support the SCI ISSM and CMCO in protecting information systems, develop training materials, enforce security policies, manage inventory, perform physical media inspections, AND/OR liaise with SCI and non-SCI officials. NO-05: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NO-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Manage AND/OR supervise the SCI ISSM and CMCO by managing media accountability, developing training materials, enforcing security policies, performing inspections, coordinating inventories, AND/OR liaising with internal and external officials.
