  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will lead multidisciplinary teams to accomplish complex technical tasks and review work products and deliverables of team members and subordinates.
    • You will assist operational commands in the resolution of issues to ensure they meet established Navy, Marine Corps, and joint operational requirements.
    • You will effectively communicate both technical and programmatic aspects of programs and projects, influence resource allocation, and effect major changes to programs and goals.
    • You will support the development, coaching, and mentoring of team members.
    • You will act as a primary representative in collaborating with external organizations, industry, and academia technology experts on best practices, current trends, and emerging technologies.
    • You will lead engineering teams that design and integrate specialized systems that assemble, store, synergize, and build understanding of information and intelligence.
    • You will serve as a Lead IT Specialist on the Distributed Common Ground System- Marine Corps (DCGS-MC) Integrated Product Team (IPT).

    Qualification Summary

    Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading engineering teams in the designing, developing, and testing of specialized systems, leading teams to accomplish complex technical tasks, and performing various supervisory duties. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. In-depth knowledge of ISR systems and Data Intensive Computing architectures and their role within the intelligence architecture. Knowledge of engineering technical review processes to include inputs and outputs and how to use these events to manage a complex technical effort.
