Major Duties (Job Description)
- You will translate customer requirements and program needs to develop new and improved concepts, principles, and/or techniques that will advance the body of knowledge of computer science and adapt and apply advanced computer science methods.
- You will develop, implement, and maintain information systems, Cyber Security programs, policies, procedures, and/or tools to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and/or data.
- You will manage and complete multidimensional, complex tasks with multiple dependencies independently, mentor others regularly ensuring appropriate succession, and leads others to accomplish complex, cross-organizational goals.
- You will apply oral and written communication skills to effectively interface with personnel at all levels and has proven ability to support briefings or presentations to mid- to high level stakeholders.
- You will provide significant engineering and technical risks/issues management and make technical recommendations for architectural changes to resolve systemic problems with a System of Systems approach.
- You will remain cognizant of new capabilities and technologies across DoD and industry, review for relevance to the system and make recommendations for component and architecture upgrades.
- You will participate in technical design meetings and reviews to ensure timely development, testing and implementation of capabilities.
- You will capture design details and relevant information to support selection of design trade-offs.
Qualification Summary
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band ND-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Develop and implement information systems, Cyber Security programs, policies, and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and/or data.
