  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will oversee government technical specialists, engineers and scientists supporting various projects in the Division, duties being both technical and administrative.
    • You will perform and document necessary research, resulting in recommendations for employee growth and management.
    • You will supervise a complex team of scientists and engineers, setting employee performance expectations and evaluating employee contributions.
    • You will be responsible for Independently implementing procedures; communicating and enforcing policies and procedures; resolving conduct and performance problems in collaboration with division leadership.
    • You will lead efforts to support the Defense Acquisition Workforce to plan, manage, monitor/oversee, perform analysis, research, design, development, installation, modification, and sustainment of systems and components.
    • You will perform as the project manager for multiple efforts including Utilizing AI for Operational Energy project and Tactical Chat Project, responsible for the overall planning, direction, and success of these projects.

    Qualification Summary

    Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NM-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical and project management oversight; knowledge of Systems Engineering of C2 systems, and applying engineering concepts to complex systems of systems architectures.
