  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will use independent judgement and apply critical decision making to requirements analysis and programmatic guidance to processes and procedures aligned with Systems Engineering and Program Management Policies, Processes, Tools, and Templates.
    • You will lead and direct the work of other employees of various grades to produce and deliver Program Management and Acquisition support to include Information Warfare Research Project (IWRP) and FAR based/non-FAR based acquisition.
    • You will make recommendations, as requested on acquisition approach, cost, schedule, performance, and risk management for designated integrated product teams.
    • You will mentor employees and departments to better understand acquisition planning management, cost management, scheduling, risk management, and other project management support functions.
    • You will administer time/attendance, travel, performance assessment, and other personnel issues.
    • You will assist in the adoption of command and competency policies, processes, and strategic guidance.

    Qualification Summary

    Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Making recommendations on acquisition approaches, costs, schedules, and risk management, assisting personnel with understanding acquisition planning and cost management, and performing various supervisory tasks.
