  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will carry-out the full range of supervisory management functions.
    • You will work with all subordinate personnel in developing reasonable performance goals which both enhance/challenge individual professional standing and which support program and higher-level objectives.
    • You will identify opportunities for professional training and advancement through educational enrichment.
    • You will support the development of acquisition strategies compliant with DoD/DON regulations and policy; plan and coordinate the execution of acquisition processes and reporting procedures.
    • You will provide oversight and coordination of program reviews (e.g., Milestone (MS), Interim Progress Review (IPR), and Program Management Reviews).
    • You will lead integrated master scheduling, risk processes and tools to comply with statutory and regulatory acquisition policies.
    • You will oversee risk mitigation planning to implement internal controls during program and project lifecycles.
    • You will apply risk management principles to assess and mitigate acquisition and program execution deficiencies.

    Qualification Summary

    Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Lead and manage the integration of program requirements, program planning/execution, and lifecycle management activities in support of an IT program's portfolio of acquisitions.
