  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will serve as both Division Head (DvHd) of the assigned Division within the Expeditionary Warfare department and Supervisor of IPT Leads as assigned.
    • You will plan, manage, and execute program resources to support the design, acquisition, integration, testing, installation, and configuration management of expeditionary C4ISR systems.
    • You will ensure IPT Leads maintain certifications and credentialing.
    • You will represent the Command with the responsibility and authority to defend the activity's position, influence resource allocation, and provide strategic recommendations to Command leadership to meet cost/schedule/performance goals.
    • You will coordinate project requirements/execution with subordinate IPT Leads, project leads, team members, and other work groups/activities including Echelon II and higher.
    • You will oversee requirements identification, and development, and integration of expeditionary C4ISR systems, environments, and/or platforms.

    Qualification Summary

    Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading the oversight and management efforts for multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and monitoring the technical requirements, cost, schedule, and performance of all products and services of C4ISR systems. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Manage and delegate resources to execute multiple large complex projects. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services, IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Assess needs and requirements necessary to provide solutions in customer support requirements. 3. Oral Communication: Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency must include: Provide technical guidance in designing and maintaining programs; and translating and interpreting functional requirements. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency must include: Evaluate and recommend adoption of new or enhanced approaches to delivering IT services.
