  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will apply program management discipline to daily management of tasks for the IT Capabilities and Services division of the CIO office, manage and track tasks, priorities, risks, master schedules and balance workload.
    • You will plan and manage upgrades to capabilities such as within NMCI, tech refresh, multi-function devices, IP based VTC and telephony; develop courses of actions, business case analyses, risk based decision analysis to make informed decisions.
    • You will manage Integrated Product Teams (IPT's) responsibilities; business tool consolidations, functional consolidations, IT operations, contract management, organizational change management and software development.
    • You will understand and utilize Risk Management techniques to properly escalate issues and manage Program impacts.
    • You will maintain Program Charters, Concept of Operations and Business Rules, and other required program documentation for Projects. Schedule regular updates to documentation.
    • You will analyze and prepare resource budgets to determine manpower requirements and associated cost estimates for managing the Division. Develop contracting strategies, contracting documents and monitor contractors progress.
    • You will conduct Organization Change Management Assessments; establish focus groups, interview stakeholders, conduct surveys, develop strategies and provide assessments and plans.
    • You will develop software documentation and support the RMF Authority to Operate (ATOs) process for corporate applications.

    Qualification Summary

    Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or DP-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading a large, diverse Information Technology workforce through significant change; developing and maintaining budgets, building strong teams and succession plans; AND managing the development and implementation of complex policies, plans, and initiatives For IT Technology tools and computer assets, Network infrastructure (fixed and wireless), telephony and new capabilities when available. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, problem solving and project management.
