  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Department, serve as the supervisor for selected departmental staff employees, and coordinate with the Division Operations Deputies.
    • You will provide direction and coordination for the Department and Command on operationally related matters under the guidance of the Deputy Department Head and Department Head.
    • You will establish policy, analyze, and direct the technical and programmatic allocations of Department facilities; manage the Department's Academic Program.
    • You will resolve Department personnel issues; and review and provide oversight of efforts in organization and business process improvement initiatives.
    • You will possess strong inter-personal skills, perform effectively at all organizational levels, and be recognized as a trusted team player and consensus builder.
    • You will analyze, execute, and oversee allocation of resources and administrative processes

    Qualification Summary

    NM-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NM-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Drafts or analyzes policies/procedures and oversees allocation of resources and/or administrative processes within an RDT&E organization. Establishes direction and/or policy for employee personnel within the department and/or provides oversight of efforts in the organization and business process improvement. NM-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NM-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assists with drafting or analyzing policies/procedures and overseeing allocation of resources and/or administrative processes within an RDT&E organization. Assists with establishing direction and/or policy for employee personnel within the department and/or provides oversight of efforts in the organization and business process improvement initiatives. For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication and Problem Solving.
