  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You supervise a highly complex team of scientists, engineers, IT specialists, and project managers.
    • You will set employee performance expectations and evaluating employee contributions.
    • You will execute technical tasks to include, project management of developmental testing, business intelligence, data analytics, software integration, testing, networking, cybersecurity, information assurance policies and configuration management.
    • You will manage IT systems processes and budget.
    • You will work with designated systems engineers in identifying, committing to, and managing initial and derived project requirements.
    • You will participate in strategic planning efforts with impact across the division/department/Center.

    Qualification Summary

    Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NM-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:Experience in applying software development, engineering, and architecture concepts to complex business systems platforms and enterprise architecture; managing IT systems processes and budget; knowledge of personnel management processes (i.e. hiring, promotions, awards, etc.) and assessing employees' performance. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
