  • Responsibilities

    Major Duties (Job Description)

    • You will serve as an Acquisition Program Management Specialist for the development and technical oversight of Information Warfare into Live, Virtual, Constructive Training capability from requirements to full operational capability.
    • You will manage budgets and spend plans; monitor obligations and expenditures and provide funds to performing activities.
    • You will direct the preparation of documents, specifications, requirements, criteria, and standards to define needs and parameters of the program.
    • You will identify and manage risks and develop mitigation plans for projects and efforts with program dependencies.
    • You will lead stakeholder and leadership engagements and updates to develop clear and concise communications for leadership updates.
    • You will manage the program to provide the Fleet with a scalable, dynamic, cost-effective virtual environment to train and build proficient IW-capable forces.

    Qualification Summary

    Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or DP-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: ability to clearly and effectively articulate, present, and promote varied ideas and issues (to include sensitive or controversial topics) before a wide range of senior and executive audiences through clear and convincing oral presentations; determining resource requirements to determines short or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them; formulating objectives and priorities that takes into consideration resources, capabilities, constraints, managing risks and contingencies that impact the organization and stakeholders; prepares, justifies, and administers the program budget and monitors expenditures and uses cost-benefit thinking to set priorities.
