Long-Term Grassroots Organizer: Environmental and Public Health Advocacy
Job Description
We are currently fighting to reverse a Supreme Court decision to weaken the Clean Water Act, ban PFAS from household products, and uplift Environmental Justice communities by holding known pollution facilities accountable.
As part of our staff, you will organize communities around these vital issues. Responsibilities include one-on-one communication, fundraising, dispersing information, collecting handwritten letters addressed to lawmakers, and educating supporters about voting.
Qualifications
We seek candidates with strong oral and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, cultural competence, and a commitment to racial justice and equity. Candidates should have an interest in non-profit or campaign work, policy, or politics. Ideal candidates enjoy connecting with people as part of their daily work and are motivated to make real change on these issues.
