  • Responsibilities

    The Association of Nonprofit Specialists is seeking an intern/pro-bono volunteer to work on prospect research projects we add a sponsorship program and implement a new membership management CRM. You would be working under the direction of board members and our management company.

    Although we are small (currently under 100K operating budget), we are expanding rapidly and are connected to all aspects of nonprofit management in NYC. This is a great learning and networking opportunity for someone considering a career as a consultant, in nonprofit management, or in sales/marketing.

    This is a flexible assignment in which you will be asked to assist with prospect research, data entry, phone calls. A good portion of these tasks can be done at any time, from any location. This is a remote position but if you are NYC area, you will have the option to meet board members in person and to attend our educational events at no cost.

  • Qualifications
    • You are a smart detail oriented self starter, with a strong work ethic, excellent computer skills, and solid reading comprehension skills
    • Prospect research, data entry, written and verbal skills
    • You are straightforward about your ability to follow through on requested tasks (you'll tell us if you get too busy and not ghost us!)
    • Interest in working with nonprofits preferred
