What You’ll Do…

This position is located in Houston, TX. Our intern program philosophy is to “recruit once, hire twice” with the hope to hire interns back into full-time or return internship roles.

The internship program assignments are 10-14 weeks in duration and are full-time hybrid internships. The summer 2025 internship is expected to begin on May 19, 2025.

**Your Key Responsibilities: **

• Research new ideas as part of a team.
• Deploy and configure new Public Cloud environments via automation – Azure DevOps, Terraform.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, and peer engineers for planning, development, and implementation of solutions for various systems.
• Investigate new technologies and methodologies to better support the platform.
• Assist in maintaining platform availability to defined levels.
• Troubleshoot and address infrastructure issues as necessary.

What You’ll Bring to Our Team

**Required Qualifications: **

• Reliable transportation to and from work daily is required.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States both now and in the future; Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
• for automation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Light-to-moderate understanding of basic networking.
• Light-to-moderate scripting and programming skills which may be required for automating some of the tasks in the future - VBA, Python, Java, Shell scripting, PowerShell.
• A desire to research and learn new skills and technologies.

Highly-Desired Qualifications:

• A moderate-to-advanced understanding of the infrastructure components and offerings of Public Cloud.
• Experience with Public Cloud PaaS services such as App Services, App Insights, Storage Accounts, Resource Groups, and monitoring tools.
• Strong Windows System administration skillsets.
• Strong to Moderate Linux (RHEL preferred) is a big plus.
• Light-to-moderate understanding of Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Packer, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to understand and develop CI/CD pipelines for automation.

**Salary Range: ** $26/hour for students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree; $31/hour for students pursuing a Master’s degree; $36/hour for students pursuing a PhD
