    What You’ll Do…

    This position is located in Houston, TX. Our intern program philosophy is to “recruit once, hire twice” with the hope to hire interns back into full-time or return internship roles.

    The internship program assignments are 10-14 weeks in duration and are full-time on-site internships. The summer 2025 internship is expected to begin on May 19, 2025.

    Your Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business needs.
    • Support the development and documentation of user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements.
    • Participate in sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure smooth execution of development cycles.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify opportunities, and clarify product goals.
    • Work with the development team to monitor progress, address blockers, and provide feedback.
    • Help analyze data and generate reports on sprint performance, product metrics, and incident resolution timelines.
    • Document and organize product roadmaps, workflows, and key deliverables.
    • Contribute to presentations and communication materials for executive updates and stakeholder meetings.
    • Shadow and assist in cross-team sessions focused on troubleshooting and issue resolution.
    • Support documentation efforts for feature requests, incident tracking, and process improvements.

    What You’ll Bring to Our Team

    Required Qualifications:

    • Reliable transportation to and from work daily is required.
    • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States both now and in the future; Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
    • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Management Information Systems or related field.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps is a plus.
    • Interest in learning Agile, Scrum, and product management frameworks.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Knowledge or coursework related to Agile methodologies and project management.
    • Exposure to data systems, software development life cycles, or real-time data workflows.
    • Familiarity with visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
    • Interest or experience in Oil & Gas data systems, data acquisition, or software solutions.

    This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. To qualify, your university and/or permanent address must be more than 50 miles from your work location.

    • Corporate housing provided for the summer to those candidates who qualify.

    Salary Range: $26/hour for students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree; $31/hour for students pursuing a Master’s degree
