The Fatherly Editorial Intern has an exciting opportunity to play a large role at an exciting, ever-growing New York media startup.
Tasks will include:
Sourcing experts for upcoming interviews
Finding awesome new toys and books for product roundups
Combing the internet for high-quality, first-person parenting stories to use for syndication on the Fatherly Forum
Researching top parenting trends and other applicable topics
Performing light clerical work, including assembling our yearly entertainment calendar and occasionally transcribing interviews
Pitching story ideas
Writing small news pieces and features.
Candidates should have excellent writing and organizational skills as well as a working knowledge of SEO and social media best practices.
Published written clips preferred.
