Who is AFRL?
This job posting may be used to hire students in the Professional, Administrative, Assistant, Clerical and Technician Student Employment Program (PAACTSEP) directly into Lab Demo using a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) for Department of Defense’s Science and Technology Reinvention Laboratories (STRLs). This student authority allows for the noncompetitive conversion to competitive service.

Students may be appointed to a temporary or a flexible length student term appointment. A travel allowance may be offered. Applications will be kept on file until 31 December 2024. You will have the opportunity to renew your submission for the period of 19 April- 31 Dec 2024 when the next posting opens on 1 Jan 2025. All applications and supporting documentation become the property of the Department of the Air Force and will not be returned once submitted.
Pay setting rules and regulations will be applied based upon levels of experience and/or education. Locality pay will be determined by location. Under the DU-1 grade level, salary could range from $39K to $79K.
