The Navigation Warfare & Next Generation Electronic Warfare Branch (AFRL/RYWJ), Sensors Directorate seeks to hire a Senior-level Branch Chief, DR-03 in Dayton, OH.
This position is open to candidates currently at the DR-02 (or equivalent grade) level eligible for promotion and/or current DR-03 (or equivalent grade) level candidates for reassignment.
Serves as Branch Chief leading the discovery, development, and transition of advanced electronic warfare (EW) capabilities and in the evaluation of electronic protection capabilities for global navigation satellite systems.

Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade, DR-02, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience include the ability to interpret, select, and apply a variety of scientific and/or engineering principles and guidelines. Analyze, investigate, and delineate specifics of the problem encountered and devise ways to meet technical requirements and develop technical programs to accomplish objectives.
Position will be filled using occupational series within the SCIENTIST AND ENGINEERING career field.
Applicants must be able to meet the OPM Qualification Standards of the position being filled.

Must be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret with access to SCI and SAP security clearance, as condition of employment.
This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent will be subject to random testing.
This position is an Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) position requiring Tier 2 (Practitioner) Non-Critical acquisition certification in Engineering. The selectee must meet or be capable of achieving acquisition certification within 60 months after assignment. This position also requires the employee to engage in acquisition continuous learning activities achieving 80 continuous learning points every 24 months.
