SAP Production Planning -- Quality Management Business Analyst #8946 Kansas City, KS Company Dairy Farmers of America, Inc - DFA Req Num 8946 Job Title SAP Production Planning -- Quality Management Business Analyst Location(s) Kansas City, Kansas Job Description Reporting to the SAP Center of Excellence (COE) Manager, the SAP Production Planning (PP) -- Quality Management (QM) Analyst will participate in a cross-functional, team environment responsible for support of core Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) SAP production planning and quality management business applications. This position is responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of the SAP PP and QM processes. Partner with the implementation teams for rollouts throughout the company, providing input on system design, integration testing, user training, and post go-live support. Act as day-to-day SAP production support, including coordination with team members and external on- and off-shore consultants. Recommend best practices to key business users to configure and enhance SAP to meet business requirements, using approved DFA implementation and change control methodology. Job Duties & Responsibilities: * Perform SAP Production Planning (PP) configuration for business processes that include Process Orders, Production Planning, and end user support and training. * Perform SAP Quality Management (QM) configuration for business processes that include Inspection Plans, Lots, and characteristics, Certificates of Analysis, and end user support and training. * Ability to gather business requirements and transform them into SAP business processes that can be implemented and supported. * Other duties may be assigned as required. Requirements  Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related equivalent experience * 3+ years' experience implementing and supporting the SAP PP module with strong knowledge of integration points between SD, MM, FI and Batch Management

• 2+ years' experience of the SAP QM module with a strong knowledge of Batch Management * Full PP and QM life-cycle implementation experience from system design to post go live support * 2+ years' experience in an SAP production support environment preferred * SAP ABAP coding experience or ability to read and understand custom ABAP code also highly preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate with business users, stakeholders, technical teams, and various levels of management * Able to listen and communicate in a clear and concise manner, along with the ability to recognize the audience and tailor communications accordingly * Able to work independently * Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including the ability to prioritize * Able to organize time and resources effectively to achieve goals (i.e., organizational skills) * Able to demonstrate leadership qualities as a self-starter, set direction, and complete assignments * Able to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels * Able to demonstrate strong customer service orientation * Must be flexible with work schedules and available to work overtime on evenings and weekends, with or without advanced notice * Strong work ethic with ability and willingness to do 'what it takes' * Must be able to read, write, and speak English Percent Travel: * Up to 25%, including regular travel to/from DFA area council, manufacturing and distribution sites EEO/AA/Female/Minority/Disabled/Veteran
