Responsible for ensuring all assigned construction work is completed safely, on time and within budget. This includes performing preventative/predictive maintenance, reactive maintenance, major and minor repairs on equipment, reporting spills and leaks. Responsibilities Job Duties: Assists in construction of equipment and facilities per directions given by roustabout foreman. Performs preventative/predictive maintenance, reactive maintenance, major and minor repairs on equipment, reporting spills and leaks. Performs general housekeeping Experience in the following: Production packs, 2 & 3 phase separators, reboilers, dehydration units, dump valves, air compressors, turbine meters, pumps, tanks, flowlines, and various other production equipment. Working knowledge of construction work, repair, policies, and safe work practices Capable of basic troubleshooting of production equipment. Also capable of repairing some equipment, such as tools and equipment needed to complete job tasks. Qualifications Competencies: Computer knowledge - Proficient utilizing MS Windows environment Strong initiative and self-starter Demonstrate experience and knowledge with various building methods and elements and phases of construction project Possesses a working knowledge of the construction industry Understands how to implement construction best practices Technical Skills related to math and analytical thinking for construction and be skilled in their usage/application Ability to keep neat and accurate records Multi-task orientation with skills related to work prioritization Excellent Interpersonal Communications skills in a team environment including written reports, oral and email. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Understanding of Importance of environmental and Safe Work Practices Qualifications : 2+ years of construction experience remote field work preferred Working knowledge of oil and gas production operations preferred, but will train acceptable candidate Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as by self without direct supervision Candidate must within a 45 mile radius of the job site At least High School Grad or GED. Some college or technical training preferred Ability to work overtime and holidays as needed and must be available for call outs as required. Must maintain clear driving record, maintain company vehicle and abide by vehicle policies. Work involves climbing at heights at or above six feet. Auditory attention and hearing sensitivity is required, as candidates must possess the ability to distinguish various sounds that serve as key maintenance indicators. Must employ the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the companys Environmental, Health, and Safety policies. Work Environment: Full exposure to extreme weather changes and humidity/moisture relative to atmospheric condition variations. Includes exposure to extreme summer and winter temperatures, as well as rain, sleet, and snow. Full exposure to dust, chemicals, gases, fumes, smoke, excessive noise, and/or vibrations. Work generally performed in an industrial environment (indoor or outdoor) with various hazards and noise exposure. Travel may be required for assignments, meetings, and training. The job also requires availability for rotating on-call schedule, occasional unscheduled call-outs and extended workdays and/or workweeks. Overtime, Weekend and/or Holiday hours may be required.
