    The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Strategy and Plans Branch (RVO), seeks to hire a senior-level,, DO-04 to lead as Chief, Integration and Operations Division (RVO).

    Position duties include, but are not limited to:

    • The RVO Division Chief integrates and orchestrates the day-to-day operations of an 800+ person Technical Directorate and oversees joint function activity supporting both Technical Directorates (RD/RV).
    • Responsible for 50+ civilian and contractor teams supporting infrastructure management, quality assurance, logistics management, strategic planning, fiscal programming, technical reporting, and human capital management in support of all technology programs.
    • Areas of expertise involve cross-discipline technical acumen, enterprise business operations, all aspects of resource management, as well as procurement and contract processes.
    • Provides recommendations to the Director regarding strategic planning and implementation options for Directorate programs.
    • Provides business/cost guidance and recommendations on space technology development actions.
    • Allocates resources to RV divisions, including scientific and functional personnel, logistics support, and ensuring lab facilities meet all future needs.

    Required Qualifications

    • United States Citizenship
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
    • Prior experience in an AFRL Technical Directorate
    • Official supervisory or supervisor of record experience
    • The ability to achieve APDP certification levels relevant to the position. Applicants for this position must list any acquisition certifications in their resume.
    • At least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade (DO-03)/GS-14 or equivalent in other pay systems.

    • Experience in leading teams
    • Experience working with or within the Department of Defense research community
    • Bachelors Degree is desired
    • Master's Degree is desired
