Due Diligence Operations Manager, Afwerx Capital Initiatives Division (do-1101-02)
Job Overview
This job announcement will be accepting candidate submissions through 07 October 2024 and is open to All US Citizens.
AFWERX, the billion-dollar innovation arm of the U.S. Air Force, seeks to hire a data-driven Due Diligence Operations Manager/Acquisition Program Management Specialist to safeguard American dual-use technology and ensure U.S. innovation benefits the nation, not its adversaries. You will be working with a team of civilian and contractor analysts conducting critical due diligence reviews mandated by the SBIR and STTR Expansion Act of 2022, protecting against technology transfer, intellectual property theft, and undue foreign influence.
This pivotal role oversees day-to-day operations, ensuring rigorous analysis, implementing automation, and fostering collaboration with DoD and interagency stakeholders. You'll guarantee the due diligence process runs smoothly, analysis meets the highest standards, and the program evolves for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
Success demands a multi-faceted skill set: program management, open-source analysis, financial acumen, and technical proficiency (SQL or similar). A strong grasp of domestic and foreign financial markets, private investments, and corporate governance is highly desired.
