Operations IT/OT System Specialist Location: -Company:ExxonMobil -Job Role Summary This is a position within the Fuels & Lubricants (F&L) Midstream Field Operations organization in ExxonMobil Pipeline Company (EMPCo). EMPCo operates fuel and crude oil pipelines and fuel supply terminals throughout the United States and Canada. This is an opportunity for someone with Security and Controls (S&C) experience and technical IT background to broaden their experience in a field operations support role. Successful candidates will support EMPCo Field Operations within their assigned area: Contribute to and guide implementation of ICSR (Industrial Control System Requirements)/cybersecurity action plan, aligned with zone/global efforts, as guided by Midstream ICSR/Cybersecurity Team Assist sites to ensure compliance with ICSR requirements, e.g. virus scanning protocol and management of change (MOC) Report functionally to the Midstream Zone ICSR/Cybersecurity Advisor; report administratively to the Operations Area Supervisor (second-line supervisor) for assigned Area A Specialist will be located at operations reporting locations (Baton Rouge, LA; Friendswood, TX; Billings, MT; DesPlaines, IL) Each Specialist will provide support for the field operations sites within their Area (5-10 major sites), necessitating some business travel (15-25%) Job Role Responsibilities Review, document and execute processes, policies, and procedures to meet ExxonMobils ICSR Be the Champion for ICSR and Cybersecurity in your assigned Area Support maintaining evergreen Zone inventories (e.g., electronic devices, external connections, AV/OS update maintenance) Develop understanding of cyber risks, mitigating controls/standards and site status (e.g., gaps, metrics) Advise site leaders on risk management decisions, providing education and translation of expectations Drive cybersecurity culture including training and procedure compliance; localize communications to engage workforce Perform administrative tasks on Windows and non-Windows operating system devices (e.g. AV/OS updating) Perform access reviews and other security verification tasks on systems, networks and applications Advise on ICSR requirements for new projects and help ensure requirements are written into the project design Participate in risk assessments and associated gap closure for sites within assigned Area Support audit preparation and processes to help ensure successful results Job Requirements Technology degree required, minimum 2-year Strong work ethic Good written and verbal communication skills Dependable and willing and able to handle urgent issues to ensure control system security (potentially may include availability outside of regular working hours/weekends/holidays). Capable of working independently and influencing effectively without continuous oversight Experience with IT risk assessments Preferred Skills / Knowledge / Abilities The following experience levels are highly preferred (may be concurrent): A minimum of 1 year of experience as a IT / OT administrator A minimum of 1 year of experience in the hydrocarbon industry / petrochemical or refining A minimum of 1 years of experience in the area of network security and controls Other helpful attributes to be considered include: Excellent analytic abilities including performing root cause failure analysis Ability to handle multiple priorities and stakeholders Audit experience Alternate Location:United States : Baton Rouge, Louisiana || United States : Billings, Montana || United States : Des Plaines, Illinois ExxonMobil is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
