The intern will work firsthand with the Creative Director of Inked magazine. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in the magazine industry to gain professional experience in a friendly environment. This is a part-time, unpaid position where we can give credit.
Requirements: Fluency in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), strong communication and organization skills are a must. Other responsibilities include general Art Department administrative duties.
Previous hands-on experience with converting and managing different types of media, creating graphics and fonts, color correcting, and outputting edited footage to multiple formats. You must be proficient in Photoshop, after effects or InDesign. You must be able to work independently as well as on a team, have a slightly flexible schedule, and have access to your own editing software is preferred.
Must have a strong interest and some knowledge in photography. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign is a bonus. Also, Must be detail oriented, organized, a team player, and have a positive attitude and strong management skills. Must be ready, willing, and able to: work until all projects are completed especially on a tight deadline; take on additional challenges and responsibilities as needed; and work closely with others in a team environment.
