We are looking to add a Service Superintendent to manage and support our service tech teams as well as work directly with clients and vendors in Florida. The ideal candidate will live within reasonable distance to the I-4 corridor and have experience with commercial roofing and managing teams.
· Partners with Regional Service Leader to interview and hire new technicians.
· Partner with Regional Service Leader to evaluate Tech Team's performance and provide counseling to improve when needed.
· Ensures Lead and Assistant Techs are trained in proper repair techniques and NAR processes.
· Oversees technician’s schedules and approve all timekeeping for technicians.
· Approves technician’s expenses via Concur.
· Responsible for promoting safety in the field and holding technicians accountable for following policies.
· Manage dispatches and work to ensure that client SLAs are met - Expedite emergencies.
· Responsible to maintain dispatch approval process for quality of Field Technicians work.
· Manages Lead and Assistant Technicians to ensure quality repair work is performed for clients.
· Work to ensure for leak calls - that technicians communicate with on site contact; ensure technicians determine site issues and develop plan to address.
· Ensures Lead and Assistant Techs are utilizing IVR, client apps or other requirements noted in dispatch.
· Responsible to promote quick bids and gathering of the data for estimating.
· Provide oversight on Service Repair contract jobs as needed.
· Review contract scope of work with Lead and Assistant Techs for mutual acceptance of sequence and installation.
· Ensure technicians are supplying SPM with contract change order information.
· Work to ensure technicians follow proper safety setup in accordance with OSHA standards, NAR and client requirements.
· Communicate with Regional Service Leader to manage NTE increases while at facility.
· Communicate with customers on repair or inspection status and assist in resolving issues.
· Assist in training of Field Partners in region.
· Inspect the quality of Field Partner and In House work as directed within region of responsibility.
· Attend Pre-bid and Pre-construction meetings as needed.
· Triage for Production Projects concerning leaks and quality of installation as required.
· Material and Equipment Procurement & Cancelation.
· Conduct StarCare inspections and other inspections as needed.
· Assist with Maintenance repairs as needed, including Leak Calls.
· Assist in all Snow and Hurricane events to either participate in repairs or supervise Field Partners.
· Conduct Warranty Inspections.
· Direct and complete repairs for larger scale RFWs.
· Participate in On Call Duties as needed.
· Support RSM in dispatch approval for both Field Partners and in-house technicians.
· Ensures field tech teams carry themselves in a professional manner and uniformed appropriately in accordance with NAR standards and requirements.
· Review work orders to ensure profitability is met.
· Inventory truck stock per company requirements.
· Responsible for keeping truck clean, organized and maintenance record current (DOT).
· Service Superintendent responsible for providing all required hand tools to complete daily duties.
· Service Superintendent responsible for upkeep and maintenance on all equipment provided by NAR.
· Ad hoc responsibility as requested

**Skills and Experience **
· 5-10 years working within commercial roofing service.
· OSHA 30
· Roofing knowledge and experience required for warrantable service and maintenance operations.
· Must be able to travel extensively as needed.
· Basic computer skills.
· Must pass criminal background check, drug screen, and driving record check.
· Must have basic computer skills
· Must have ability to work with handheld electronic devices (cell phones, iPads, etc)
· Must reside within Central Florida area
· Experience with Electronic Dispatch Software a plus (ie. FCS Control)
· 50% time in office / 50% in field
Working Conditions
· Work is primarily performed in outdoor weather conditions. Must be able to work in varied extreme weather conditions (extreme hot and extreme cold).
· Must be able to climb a ladder
· 50-60% travel by car or plane.
· Repetitive bending and stooping with occasional lifting up to 40 pounds is required. Operating heavy equipment and lifting heavy materials occasionally.
· Repetitive finger/hand/forearm motion necessary for completing data entry. Ability to manipulate keyboards, telephone keypads, and other office equipment.
· Talking and listening required for answering telephones and conversing personally with customers and staff. Manual dexterity required for accessing filing cabinets.
