JOB SUMMARY
Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
Responsible for performing sole analysis and participating in team analysis of business processes in order to recommend improvements and/or establish requirements for new development projects, including the responsibility for implementing it. This may include user testing, training and follow-up.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: May be modified from time to time. Other duties may be assigned.
- Required to gain specialized knowledge of current procedures and facilitate the definition of project objectives and requirements
- Work with stakeholders across all business units and translate business requirements into specific software solutions; review, analyze, and create detailed documents including workflow diagrams, functional specifications, and technical requirements
- Manage and track task statuses and contribute to the mentoring of the IT Support Team.
- Participate in the design, testing, and implementation rollout of system enhancements and new releases
- Participate in the implementation of system and process changes, including user training and documentation
- Become knowledgeable about ongoing development projects and system changes and help to address concerns, especially as they relate to user acceptance, training, stability, maintainability, and supportability on an ongoing basis.
- Must intelligently prioritize and delegate tasks to other employees, project manage, and quickly react to crisis situations.
- Must regularly report status to management and proactively provide updates on current projects and issues.
- Contribute to the support and improve our business and ERP systems. Specifically, this indicates possessing a complete and thorough understanding of all modules as they relate to each other and to our peripheral tracking systems.
- Assist IT support at a Tier 2 or 3 level support.
- Gain a high-level understanding of Radwell International operational functions (i.e. sales order processing, purchasing, inventory management, shipping, and accounting) and the related software interaction.
- Other tasks may also be required from time to time, at the discretion of management, in order to achieve department and company objectives.
METRICS
Business Analysts are required to complete monthly commitments and are expected to conduct systems analysis and design. They will be measured on the quality of their work and on how effectively they accomplished their tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
It is essential that candidate possesses or can quickly acquire the necessary knowledge of the following systems which are crucial to the business:
- Windows
- Prophet 21 and RADiant systems knowledge
- Microsoft Office
- MS SQL Server
- Microsoft Visio
- Microsoft Project

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- AS, AAS, BS or equivalent degree in Business or Management of Information Systems (MIS) with 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training
- Technical product knowledge preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Continuous sitting and typing for extended periods.
- Occasional, reaching/working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
- Lifting requirements include occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
- Frequent walking or standing may be required at times
EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY
- Introductory Review -- Will be written at approximately 80 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employment will continue
- Monthly reviews – Employee will be given a brief written monthly review primarily focused on quantitative performance and measurement of activity.
- Annual Reviews – Monthly reviews will factor in as a big part of this process along with attendance, job knowledge, overall performance and dependability.
WORK SCHEDULE
This is an exempt position which requires a work schedule that will achieve the results and objectives identified by the company. Generally the schedule for this position will be 8 am-5 pm, Monday through Friday, with one hour for lunch. Nights and weekends may be worked at based on current project and implementation needs, deadlines, and workload. Employee is expected to come to work on time and adhere to accepted time-off policies.
