**JOB SUMMARY
Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM**
The IT Network Administrator II will maintain computer infrastructures with emphasis on networking and Telecom. on-site servers, software-network interactions as well as network integrity/resilience are the key areas of focus Other tasks may also be required from time to time, at the discretion of management, in order to achieve department and company objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Network Infrastructure – Design, develop, test, modify, monitor, and deploy the network infrastructure including but not limited to switches, routers, firewall, fiber and copper cabling as well as provide support for remote offices.
- Responsible to assist in Network Administration and Support at the all Radwell Locations.
- Provides input on new system and application implementation plans, custom scripts and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability. Trains technical staff in how to use new software and hardware developed and/or acquired.
- Performs troubleshooting as required. As such, leads problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel and/or organizations.
- Server Infrastructure - Design, develop, test, modify, monitor, deploy, and optimize the server infrastructure and Microsoft systems, including but not limited to security, spam filtering, email systems, file storing/server, group policies, hardware/software performance, active directory, domain administration, web server administration and maintenance, and standardization and compliance concerns.
- Telecommunications - Design, develop, test, modify, monitor, deploy, and optimize all Telecommunications systems and related equipment including management and administration of corporate cell phones.
- Software Deployment Projects – IT Network Administrator is also required to document standard administrative processes and system outages. In the case of outages, IT Network Administrator will work with team and conduct root cause analysis and research/recommend improvements to management.
- Security – Responsible for being diligent with ensuring that system patches are tested and applied. May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned.

- To consistently meet deadlines and objectives as agreed and typically described in quarterly reviews or through other project planning efforts
- To handle ongoing projects and day-to-day demands that are not identified in formal quarterly objectives in a timely and accurate manner

- IT Network Administrator will be measured by Monthly Project Completion and systems uptime.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of: Operating systems; current equipment and technologies in use; Windows system administration, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools;

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma and/or technical school required
- Three to Five years related experience and/or training
- Technical product knowledge preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Work environment includes typical computer related noise levels and paper and equipment generated dust.
- Exposure to video display terminals occurs on a regular basis.
- Incumbent is on call to provide support services during off hours.
- Scheduled night and weekend work is required.
- Occasional Domestic and International travel may be required.
- Occasional sitting, frequent walking, reaching/working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, continuous standing and repetitive hand motion.
- Lifting requirements include occasional lifting of 50 pounds with more frequent lifting of 10 pounds.
EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY
- Probationary Review – A written evaluation of the employee’s performance in accounts receivable will be issued to determine permanent employment. This is typically done approximately 80 days after employment.
- Quarterly Evaluations – A quarterly written assessment will be issued which briefly describes the individual’s performance in this position.
- Annual Reviews – A more detailed review of the overall performance in this position, where the employee is rated and typically compensated in accordance with that rate.
