The incumbent will serve as RVI Information System Security Manager (ISSM) supporting both RD and RV Technical Directorates (PRS).
Position duties include, but are not limited to:
Serves as an ISSM and oversees the analysis, recommendation, and implementation of internal controls of all matters related to IA and Cybersecurity, as directed by DoD, Air Force, Space Force, AFMC, AFRL & base/local policies.
The ISSM analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of the PRS computer security program and advises management of potential security issues, deficiencies, and procedures.
Manages the Communication Security (COMSEC) & Emissions Security (EMSEC) programs for RD & RV Directorates.
Applies a wide variety of tools and methods to identify, access, analyze and improve the management and execution of PRS' Risk Management Framework (RMF), COMPUSEC, COMSEC, EMSEC, and all programs that comprise the Information Assurance (IA) and Cybersecurity disciplines.
Provides RMF, COMPUSEC, COMSEC, and EMSEC policy guidance and
recommendations to IT management, staff, and customers.
Ensures the RMF Certification and Accreditation (C&A) of systems is completed &
authorized.
Conducts risk & vulnerability assessments of planned IT systems to identify COMSEC, EMSEC or network vulnerabilities.
Serves as the coordination point between technical groups (i.e., helpdesk, system
administrators) and various investigative organizations like the OSI and/or Security Forces.
Reports Classified Message Incident (s) through designated channels to the
Communication Focal Point, 83rd NOS & INOSC as required & oversees expeditious remedial actions are accomplished to avoid damage to national security.
Responsible for data input & to ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements in the EITDR, PEGA, ServiceNOW & eMASS.
Monitors & reports on work status, checks on work-in-progress & reviews completed work.

Required Qualifications
United States Citizenship
Secret Security Clearance
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to apply IT security principles, methods, and security products throughout the system lifecycle management process.
Certified IAM Level II within the DoD Approved 8570 and/or 8140 requirements.

5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity career field
Bachelor of Science in Information Security or equivalent
