JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for supporting maintenance and repair tasks alongside the Senior Coordinator. Ensure parts are available to fix and repair chassis, generator sets, and refrigeration units. Perform consumption updates to meet operational requirements while following state and federal laws and regulations. Ensure daily updates on damaged equipment and other reports.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meet weekly M&R KPIs
Produce weekly out-of-service report
Creation of work orders to be assigned to mechanics.
Chassis PMs and genset PMs
Ensure all work orders are entered into the required MCS to reflect actual repairs/PMs performed on a daily and weekly basis
Evaluate equipment to be sent to outside vendors
Check PMs entering and leaving the workshop
Ensure parts/materials are ordered through MCS
Receive and manage parts/materials in MCS as soon as they are delivered to ensure inventory is up to date.
Validate roadside repairs when equipment is returned.
Dispatch parts/inventory
Evaluate equipment with IICL criteria to estimate and send to be repaired with third party vendors
Validate third party invoices
Follow up on invoicing to ensure all vendors receive payment
Provide mechanics with necessary supplies to ensure adequate repairs
Follow all maintenance SOPs
Special projects and miscellaneous tasks as needed or required by the local Supervisor and Senior Coordinator.
Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma required
Training in carrier containers and gensets
IICL Certification for Chassis and Containers
Mechanical background or experience is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong computer skills
Knowledge of MCS is a plus
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and high attention to detail
Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical documents such as safety standards, operating instructions, maintenance, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Proficient in basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:
General office, shop, and warehouse.
Incumbent may use calculators, computers, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds easily throughout shift.
Must be able to twist/turn, reach over shoulders and stand/walk on a continual basis.
Must be able to work shifts as assigned such as weekends, holidays and mandatory overtime.
Stooping, squatting, walking, reaching, bending, twisting, lifting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.
Use repetitive motions using upper and lower extremities, mount and dismount equipment.
