Duties and Responsibilities:
Formulate and enforce policies, manages daily operations, and plan the use of materials and human resources that include but are not limited to:
Collaborate with leadership to develop and control budget spending, labor and material efficiency, customer service standards and effective employee practices
Direct and coordinate business activities regarding the bid process, sales and customer relations and produce required reports
Direct administrative activities related to the Plumbing Division services
Prepare staff work schedules and assign specific duties
Monitor supplies and third party vendor relationships to ensure efficient and effective products and services are provided within budgetary limits
Direct and coordinate financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments and increase efficiency
Implement and enforce departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures
Perform personnel functions of selection, training, performance evaluation and termination
Estimate, oversee and review bid process and ensure established price and credit policies are enforced and effectively communicated to customers
Manage assigned vehicle fleet and ensure safe operation, inspections and maintenance procedures are adhered to by all assigned personnel
Ensure all assigned personnel understand and are adequately trained in their assigned duties and responsibilities
Ensure clean and orderly conditions exist in all work areas, parts cage, shop, warehouse, vehicles and job sites
Participate in budget process and meet or exceed revenue goals while controlling labor and material costs
Coach, train and review subordinate performance and promote methods and techniques that enhance productivity and work quality
Assist in sales efforts through leading and training Field Supervisors and technicians to also drive sales
Create sales quotes, write and submit proposals, close sales, follow up on all sales proposals and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
Education:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Two years of college or trade school or equivalent experience preferred
Experience:
• Possess a minimum of seven (7) years in a supervisory role
• Possess a minimum of ten (10) years verifiable Commercial Plumbing experience
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems and related operations.
License Required:
Texas Responsible Master Plumber License required
TSBPE Master Plumber License required
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and possible extended work hours as required to complete all assigned duties.
Supervision:
LCS Plumbing Supervisors and Technicians.
Compensation:
This is a full-time exempt position that is not eligible for overtime.
