Procore is looking for Software Engineering interns to join our Product & Technology team. This is a paid, full-time 12-week summer 2024 internship located in our Austin, Texas office. In your role as an intern, you'll work with both a manager and a mentor. This unique opportunity will allow you to play a significant role in shaping the development of Procore’s technology and take charge of vital projects early in your career. Your work in design & coding will make meaningful contributions to resolving intricate technical problems and could span diverse domains like distributed systems, data analysis, automation, efficiency enhancement, mobile, and security, among others.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with seasoned Procorians from various disciplines to envision, create, and introduce groundbreaking products and services to the market
• Ability to code effective solutions from initially broad problem statements
• Assist fellow teammates by conducting code reviews and pairing
• Complete a cohort project which you’ll showcase at the end of the summer along with your role specific work

What we’re looking for:

• Currently enrolled undergraduate student studying Computer Science or related field at an accredited 4-year college/university undergraduate program and returning to school following the internship
• Interest in pursuing a career in Software Engineering or related fields
• Ability to excel in a fast-based environment and possess a high degree of motivation, creativity, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
• Some exposure to our tech stack or similar technologies is a plus: Primarily Ruby/Rails/React/Postgres hosted on AWS and increasingly using Kubernetes and languages such as Java and Typescript, CircleCI for Continuous Integration, and a combination of Spinnaker and an in-house tool for CD
• Linux and/or REST API experience a plus
• Any experience with Mobile, e.g. iOS and Android development considered a plus

Important Information:

• Must be at least 18 years of age at the start of the internship
• Must have at least 1 semester remaining after the completion of the summer internship
• Must be legally authorized and able to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship and will be residing in the U.S. during the internship period.
• Approximate dates of this internship are May/June to August/September 2024. Interns must be available to work full time, in the Austin, Texas office for the entirety of the 12-week assignment.

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $25-$45. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
