Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will communicate with customers to identify their shopping needs, and provide great customer service to ensure an excellent shopping experience. Responsibilities may include processing inventory, stocking shelves, processing sales transactions at the register and maintaining the store's appearance. The ideal candidate is friendly, experienced in customer service, and possesses cash register or POS operation experience.
Responsibilities
Welcome each customer with a smile and provide assistance while they are shopping
Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures
Ring up sales at a register
Collect payments via cash or credit card
Issue receipts and refunds to customers
Stock aisles and maintain store
Drive sales by participating in product promotions and initiatives set forth by the company.
Develop and maintain solid product knowledge for the purpose of assisting customers with their selections
Refer to premade scripts for a variety of customer service topics
Use best practices in customer service techniques to develop rapport and build relationships with customers
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED
Ability to read, count, write and communicate clearly and effectively
Understanding of Sales Techniques and best Customer Service Practices
Ability to efficiently and accurately work a register
Work well in a team environment
Willing to work a flexible schedule
Requirements
Available to work Mornings (8:30am-4:00pm), Evenings (3:00pm-8:30pm) and Weekends(Saturday & Sunday)
Register or POS system experience (6+ months)
Retail experience in a clothing or children's store
Compensation: $13.00 per hour
