Administrative Assistant - HR Summary of Position: This position is responsible for performing a variety of administrative functions in the Human Resources department. Duties & Responsibilities : Support all Human Resources management Coordination of all internal and off-site meetings; i.e. travel (domestic and international), agenda, meals, evening events, etc. Coordination of travel for Human Resources personnel Coordination of travel for candidates interviewing with Rowan Prepare confidential correspondence, reports and presentations Maintain schedules and coordinate calendar accordingly Prepare expense reports for HR management Process and reconcile hotel invoices, and hotel credit card statements online, on a monthly basis Codes and routes all HR invoices for approval and assist with budget reconciliations for HR cost centers Prepare presentations for the department, as required Receives transcripts for Rowan Scholarship recipients, processes Scholarship payments and corresponds with applicants/recipients as deemed necessary Comply with safety policies and procedures Performs a variety of tasks and projects, as required Processes HR Department supply orders and ensures proper approvals obtained and coding within SAP Assists in the printing and collating of Board material Track stock grant acceptance and sends out reminders to participants New User Requests as requested New Vendor Forms as requested Miscellaneous tasks Handle HR Credit Card, keep receipts, code, and report to Accounting Distribution of UK HR correspondence Qualifications: College degree preferred 3-5 years of experience in the field or related area, experience working with senior management a plus Skills & Experience: Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel skills will need to be intermediate to advanced) Proficient with Outlook Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Possess strong interpersonal skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Region: Texas Job type: Regular Working hours: Full-time Working days: Day Location: Houston, TX Submit Application Print Reference Number: 9631493028
