The Tech Engagement Office, AFRL/RDOX, seeks to hire a mid-level DO-II, Non-Supervisory Management And Program Analyst in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The incumbent will serve as the Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics (STEAM) coordinator.
Position duties include, but are not limited to:
• STEAM engagement, outreach, workforce development programs, and heritage preservation & communication efforts, on behalf of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Phillips Research Site (PRS) Technology Outreach Office.
• Collaborates w/academic, government & industry partners to develop/provide leadership for joint initiatives in collaboration with science, educational technology & art programs.
• Works w/internal & external community members to facilitate partnership opportunities in STEAM & related fields to communicate AFRL's achievements & impacts on the DoD mission.
• Utilizes diverse experience to analyze, evaluate/develop internal processes, goals and objectives aligned with leadership's vision in support of DoD goals and objectives.
• Research/Investigates new or improved strategies for initiating and sustaining STEAM innovations to support PRS implementation.
• Develops new or modified administrative STEAM program design plans with an emphasis on workforce development and technology integration.
• Develops procedures & systems for collaboration w/ecosystem partners to develop local, state & national conferences, workshops & training. Coordinates, develops & delivers activities, curricular resources, & staff training to design/support initiatives.
• Engages AFRL leadership through in-reach activities such as updating & improving PRS Portal displays, creating & updating content/infrastructure & proposing/planning new exhibits.
• Establishes, monitors and manages controls to include cost, schedule, and performance.

• Ability to obtain & maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Employee must meet Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) requirements, which includes achieving a “Practitioner” certification in Program Management within 24 months of appointment.
