Social Worker - Murdoch Center Salary $42,780.00 - $72,424.00 Annually Location Granville County, NC Job Type Permanent Full-Time Department Dept of Health and Human Services Job Number 18-11706 Closing 10/29/2018 5:00 PM Eastern Description of Work This Social Work position is responsible for the provision of social work services for Arbor Cottage; a 48 bed co-ed severe/profound Intellectual Developmental Disability Program. This position will administratively report to the Division Director with professional supervision provided through Murdoch's Social Work Department. This position will render direct services through personal contact between the social worker and the client/family; Indirect services will include the completion of psychosocial evaluations and documentation of client progress. The Social Worker will also assist with related duties concerning individual's and divisional needs as assigned by the Division Director. The Social Worker is a vital member of the interdisciplinary treatment team. Social Workers work directly with clients/guardians, professionals from other disciplines and paraprofessionals employed by Murdoch Center. This position will maintain effective working relationships with agency staff and other service providers. Required work schedule is 8:00 am5:00 pm. Monday Friday. Quality Assurance Rounds responsibilities including weekend and third shift rounds, and flexibility for after hour admissions may be necessary occasionally.
