    Position Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Managing cost, schedule, performance, and risk for digital capabilities across the life cycle for Air Force Research and Development Mission Infrastructure
    • Collaborating with the IT Product Owner and customers to incorporate user feedback and enhance user adoption
    • Managing technical architecture, systems engineering, and services for transitioning digital capabilities into operations
    • Contributing to acquisition strategies for infrastructure, software, and services
    • Working with contracting organizations to design flexible contracting arrangements
    • Planning operations and sustainment support for digital enterprise capabilities with stakeholders
    • Facilitating communication between internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic goals
    • Engaging in process improvements to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction
    • Preparing risk assessments and corrective action plans
    • Communicating service delivery strategies, plans, and issues with leadership

    Required Qualifications

    • US Citzenship
    • Must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lowest grade or equivalent grade of the position being advertised.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance
    • Males must be registered Selective Service, see www.sss.gov
    • This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment, and participation in random drug testing
    • Selectee will be required to file an OGE Form 450, Confidential Disclosure Report, upon appointment and will be required to file annually.

    • Degree in Engineering.
    • The program must have been ABET accredited.

    Information Technology (IT) Specialist (2210): To meet the eligibility of an IT Specialist, applicants must meet the following basic requirements.

    • Experience that demonstrated the accomplishment of computer project assignments that required a wide range of knowledge of computer requirements and techniques pertinent to the position to be filled.
    • This knowledge is generally demonstrated by assignments where the applicant analyzes several alternative approaches in the process of advising management concerning major aspects of IT system design, such as what system interrelationships must be considered, or what operating mode, system software, and/or equipment configuration is most appropriate for a given project.
